Hi, I’m Krishna — a writer and editor by profession, but long before any title, I have always been a Mom to 8 doggos, someone who loved animals with her whole heart.
The Good Boy Co. began with my girl, Zoey. When Zoey passed away, something inside me changed forever. The house became quieter in a way words can never explain. No tiny footsteps following me around. No sleepy eyes waiting at the door. No warm little body curling up beside me at the end of the day.
And for the first time, I truly understood how deeply animals become stitched into our lives — into our routines, our emotions, our sense of home.
Losing her didn’t just feel like losing a pet. It felt like losing a part of myself. And somewhere in that grief, I kept thinking about one thing over and over again — they spend their entire lives loving us. Their whole world is us. Every tail wag, every excited greeting, every little habit… It all comes from a love so pure and uncomplicated that humans rarely experience anywhere else.

That kind of love deserves softness. It deserves patience. It deserves safety. It deserves to be nurtured with the same devotion they give us every single day.
That is why I built The Good Boy Co. — not as a “pet business,” but as a space that feels the way I would want the world to feel for my own babies. A place where animals are spoken to gently, comforted when they’re anxious, celebrated for their silly little personalities, and cared for with the kind of affection only someone who truly understands them can give.
Every little detail here carries a piece of Zoey with it. The warmth. The softness. The comfort. The feeling of home. Because after loving her, I knew one thing for certain — I wanted to spend my life giving animals the kind of love mothers carry in their hearts for their children.
